Douglas G. Lewis, R.A., NCARB
- President

Mr. Lewis is a licensed architect, holding NCARB certification, with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Civil Engineering Technology. He has spent many years in structural design, and has broad experience as a Damage Consultant in all facets of forensic civil and structural engineering and construction, and is a recognized authority on mine subsidence damage. Mr. Lewis has served as a limited service classroom instructor on the Engineering Technology Department faculty of Youngstown State University, co-authored an engineering technology programming text, and been a panelist and guest speaker at forensic engineering-related conventions and seminars.




Lorey M. Caldwell, P.E., R.A.
- Vice President, Engineering

Mr. Caldwell is a licensed architect and a professional engineer, with Bachelor of Science degrees in Architectural Engineering and Business Administration. He has a wealth of forensic civil and structural engineering experience, as well as design, construction, and real estate development experience in commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential projects. He is the firm's principal engineer, focusing on losses of large dollar value, unusual technical complications, hostile interpersonal relations, or other problems. He directs all engineering and technical services of the firm. He is a member of a host of professional engineering-related organizations.




Jerome D. Paulick, P.E.
- Senior Damage Consultant

Mr. Paulick is a professional engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He has impressive engineering experience with building, highway, and airport design and project management. As a Senior Damage Consultant, Mr. Paulick specializes in building damage and failure analysis. He maintains membership in numerous professional engineering-related organizations.




Eric D. Hauser, P.E.
- Senior Damage Consultant/Senior Structural Engineer

Mr. Hauser is a professional engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, cum laude, and a Master of Science in Engineering (Structural). He has 25 years of professional engineering experience and expertise in finite element analysis and design in steel, concrete, wood and masonry. His primary focus has comprised industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities, and has included new construction, additions, renovations, and restorations, both in the United States, and abroad. Eric is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.




Kevin P. Cronan, P.E.
- Senior Damage Consultant

Mr. Cronan is a professional engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in management. He has over twenty years of extensive mechanical engineering experience in design, analysis and testing of a multitude of machines, equipment and mechanical systems. Kevin also has significant experience in all phases of multi-million dollar project management. As a Senior Damage Consultant, he focuses on all aspects of forensic mechanical engineering.




John R. Getchey, P.E.
- Senior Damage Consultant

Mr. Getchey is a professional engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He has lengthy experience in structural design. As a Senior Damage Consultant, Mr. Getchey specializes in forensic civil and structural engineering, including all phases of investigation, engineering analysis, and damage evaluation.




Frank J. Tarantine, Ph. D., P.E.
- Senior Damage Consultant

Dr. Tarantine is a professional engineer with a Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering. He spent many years on the Engineering Department faculty of Youngstown State University, and also taught at Carnegie-Mellon University. Dr. Tarantine also has significant mechanical engineering experience in private industry as well as the public sector. As a Senior Damage Consultant, he focuses on all aspects of forensic mechanical engineering. Dr. Tarantine has authored numerous publications and technical reports, and is active in select professional organizations.




Daniel J. Santon, P.E.
- Senior Damage Consultant

Mr. Santon is a professional engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering. He has extensive experience in electrical design and construction, as well as forensic electrical engineering as a Senior Damage Consultant. Mr. Santon belongs to key professional associations.




Robert L. Bloomberg, E.I.
- Damage Consultant/Chief Estimator
Mr. Bloomberg is an engineering intern with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology. He has extensive experience in construction estimating and project management, and is the firm's Chief Estimator. As a Damage Consultant, Mr. Bloomberg assists in all phases of forensic architectural, civil, and structural engineering, and has a wealth of experience in mine subsidence damage.


 
Gary W. Baniel, E.I.
- Damage Consultant/Construction Estimator
Mr. Baniel is an engineering intern with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering. He has over 30 years experience as a general contractor, having completed over 450 projects in the institutional, industrial and commercial arenas. Mr. Baniel also was Director of Engineering for a well-known precast concrete manufacturer in northeast Ohio. Mr. Baniel assists in all phases of forensic architectural, civil, and structural engineering.
